CoOeee | WHERE THE VILLAGE COMES TO PLAY
At CoOeee, we're not just offering preschool - we're rebuilding the village.
We believe raising children isn’t meant to be done alone. It’s meant to be held in the hands of many — with kindness, laughter, muddy adventures, shared stories, and gentle guidance.
CoOeee is a place where your child is more than enrolled — they are known. Their ideas are heard, their wild imaginations are nurtured, and their hearts are held with care. It’s a place where parents linger after drop-off for a coffee, where friendships bloom between families, and where community isn’t just a word — it’s the very air we breathe.
Our 'Village Care' model invites you in.
Not just as a parent.
But as a part of something.
Our days are filled with muddy boots, belly laughs, and moments of magic. Whether it's exploring the bush, making art under the trees, or simply being together - every child is seen, heard, and celebrated. We offer nature-rich play, doors that never close to the outdoors and spaces for both children and grown-ups to rest, connect and belong.
Because here, we care for the whole family — not just the little ones.
Because here, you don’t have to carry it all alone
CoOeee Care | 3 Years – 6 Years
What If Children Could Choose Their Space, Not Be Assigned One?
At CoOeee, we’ve broken the mould - no “3-year-old room, no “preschooler zone.”
Because children are more than their age — they’re thinkers, movers, feelers, explorers. And those things shift daily.
So we let them choose.
Together, The Cocoon Zone and The Canopy Zone give children the freedom to choose the rhythm of their day. Some might cocoon in the morning and canopy by lunchtime — we follow their lead.
It’s not age-based care.
It’s relationship-based, rhythm-respecting, village care.
CoOeee Cocoon
🐛 The Cocoon Zone
A space to slow down, snuggle in, and just be.
The Cocoon is our quiet, low-stimulation haven — a place where children can retreat, recharge, and gently explore at their own pace. Here, you’ll find soft light, gentle textures, calm voices, and open-ended invitations to rest, reflect, or dive deep into imaginative play. Whether it’s curling up with a book, sorting shells, or simply lying back and listening to the breeze — The Cocoon offers a pause from the world, held in warmth and safety.
CoOeee Canopy
🌿 The Canopy Zone
Where energy flows, laughter echoes, and adventures unfold.
The Canopy is our light-filled, buzzing-with-possibility space. Inspired by the treetops — where birds sing, breezes dance, and ideas spark — it’s a space where children climb, build, collaborate, and create. Whether they’re painting on easels, constructing grand block cities, or moving their bodies in big joyful ways, The Canopy celebrates energy, expression, and connection.

She Called Out CoOeee...and We All Came Running
Hi, I’m Brit — a teacher, a mum, and the voice behind that first CoOeee call.
I’ve spent over a decade working in early childhood and primary education. I’ve led classrooms, supported families, mentored educators, and designed learning environments that nurture curiosity and connection. I’ve studied the research, met the regulations, and seen the systems — but I’ve also felt, deep in my bones, what’s missing.
Because nothing opened my eyes more than becoming a mum.
The juggle. The isolation. The quiet grief of feeling like you should have it all together. I saw so many parents — myself included — holding it all in, doing it all alone.
That’s where CoOeee began.
Not just as a place where children are free to play, explore, and just be — but as a space where parents, feel safe enough to exhale. A place where shoulders soften, connection is easy, and no one feels like they have to hold it all together.
I’ve poured everything I know — as a teacher, a parent, and a human who believes in the power of community — into this village. Here, hugs are normal. So are tears. So is celebrating exactly who you are.
This isn’t just a preschool. It’s a call to reconnect in a world that’s gotten too fast, too busy, and too lonely. It’s for the parents longing for a slower pace and a softer landing — and for the children who just need space to be.
Together, we’re rebuilding the village that was never meant to be lost
Welcome to CoOeee.
You belong here — even before you walk through the door.
The 'VILLAGE CARE' Model
At CoOeee, the care doesn’t stop at the children. Families are part of the village too — that’s why we’ve created the 'Village Care' model - spaces, events and rhythms connecting teachers, parents/carers, children and our community.
Some exciting parts of our model include the CoOeee Connect group. After drop-off, you’re invited to slow down — not rush off. Whether you need a quiet corner to breastfeed, a comfy seat to read a few pages, or just a hot cuppa and a real chat, this space is for you. With the kettle always on, and a gentle invitation to linger, the CoOeee Connect zone is where friendships form, stories are shared, and the village begins to feel like home.
We've also curated The CoOeee Collective Wall. Looking for a local lactation consultant, hairdresser who gets kids, gentle dentist, or a great physio? Our CoOeee Collective Wall is a curated hub of helpful humans - trusted by real CoOeee families. Browse, contribute, and connect with the services and people who make parenting a little easier and life a little sweeter.
Look out for our CoOeee Connections Events held monthly with a rotating calendar of support, laughter and village magic. A small fee applies to events outside of care hours to help cover set-up, staff time, and the cosy touches that make these evenings feel so special. From meal prep nights to reading circles, laundry & laughs, fix it club and so many more, each gathering offers practical support and heartfelt connection. Our CoOeee Connection Events bring parents, carers and our community together to share the load, meals, stories, and laughs — because you weren’t meant to do this alone.
'Where the Village Comes to Play'
Village Voice
You CoOeee'd - We Answered!
Yes! We are a fully licensed and approved early childhood education and care service under the NSW Regulatory Authority
Our days flow gently, just like they would in a village. We follow the children’s lead, with:
– Roving mealtimes with two open windows — morning tea and lunch, — where children are free to come, eat, and return to play when they’re ready. It’s a calm, child-led approach that supports independence, body awareness, and a relaxed rhythm to the day.
– Flexible rest (some nap, some read, some keep playing — all are supported)
– Bush kindy adventures (we explore the nearby bushland and creek every day, connecting with Country, observing the changing seasons, and discovering the magic of the outdoors)
– Indoor/outdoor flow (our hall doors are always open, allowing children to move freely between spaces that inspire both energy and calm)
We believe in rhythm over routine.
Yes — every single day. Outdoor play is at the heart of our approach. Rain or shine, we spend time outside exploring, playing, and connecting with nature.
Each day includes Bush Kindy adventures, where we wander, observe, and play amongst the trees and creek nearby — building confidence, curiosity, and a deep connection to Country.
We ask families to provide all-weather gear and cosy options so children are comfortable and free to roam.
Yes! We take regular local excursions to bushland, beaches, parks, and community spaces — and we also go on daily Bush Kindy walks, exploring the creek and surrounding nature right near the hall.
These adventures are risk-assessed and guided by our educators, supporting children to develop confidence, curiosity, and a deep connection to the world around them.
We know mornings can be big — for kids and parents. We offer a calm, welcoming drop-off experience anytime within 845-315, with space for slow goodbyes or quick snuggles and big waves. Pick-up is just as relaxed, we’re always excited to share how your child’s day went and hear about yours too!
At CoOeee, getting ready for school means more than just learning letters — it’s about building confidence, connection, and independence.
We prioritise real-world experiences like visiting local schools (including playgrounds, libraries, canteens, classrooms, and even the sick bay!) and helping children feel safe and brave in new environments.
We guide them in practical skills like opening lunchbox packets, caring for belongings, using scissors, and navigating friendships.
We also weave in foundational literacy and numeracy experiences, supporting children to develop the early skills they’ll need for school — always through play, conversation, and meaningful moments.
And just as importantly, we support parents by helping connect families for weekend playdates with future classmates — because school readiness starts with relationships, not worksheets.
Our fees are $121 per child, per day (845AM-315PM). Please note that late pick up fees are applied strictly. We deeply value our CoOeee crew and their time — they have families, commitments, and lives outside of CoOeee, and we honour that by ensuring all children are collected on time.
Your daily fee includes much more than just care — it covers everything your child needs for a full day of nurturing, play, and learning in our village-style environment.
